The brief was plain and simple: “Create a sizzle for Bon App’s FAST channel.” But I saw it as a bigger opportunity.

Sure, a sizzle reel for FAST TV is great — but what if we could make something more evergreen? Something versatile enough to be repurposed across different parts of the Bon Appétit business? That’s exactly what we set out to do.

Working closely with the powerhouse duo at Def6, Chris Reinhart and Ashley Parisi, we built a dynamic visual narrative that positions Bon Appetit as more than a food brand; it’s a lifestyle companion for every culinary moment.

Because design is such an integral part of BA’s identity, we leaned into the bold contrast of their color palette and playful typography, letting the design elements take center stage. Every frame was crafted to reinforce brand recognition, knowing this piece needed to flex across use cases — from awareness-driving to audience engagement.

And of course, we didn’t stop at visuals. We chose a track that was intentionally earworm-y, upbeat, memorable, and perfectly in sync with the brand’s energy to leave viewers with the unmistakable feeling of Bon Appétit long after the sizzle ends.

This creative partnership delivered a powerful, multi-purpose asset that immediately became an evergreen staple for the Bon Appétit brand. Beyond its initial use for the FAST channel, its versatile format was readily adapted and distributed across various lines of business and social channels, including paid promotions, effectively building broad awareness.
