Vogue app launch, 2024

The task was simple but ambitious: produce marketing assets that wouldn’t just announce the new Vogue app, but excite the audience and drive downloads.

Our core creative asset was a sizzle video that turned a digital product into an enticing, accessible experience for the Vogue audience. Working closely with video editor Laura Morrell, we crafted a dynamic visual edit that:

  • Highlighted the app’s key capabilities and value propositions.

  • Aligned seamlessly with Vogue’s premium brand aesthetic.

We also leveraged existing assets strategically. A pre-existing animated logo, which hadn’t been widely used externally, was repurposed and paired with a QR code linking directly to the app store for instant downloads. Distribution was carefully timed:

Pre-launch: Released the day before launch to build intrigue and direct users to a homepage with app details.

Post-launch: Continued to drive traffic directly to the app store.

Published across Vogue’s organic and paid social channels on launch day, the sizzle video became the primary visual tool promoting the app, driving over 69 million link clicks to the app store.
